ARES Radio Memory Programming

Bernalillo County ARES has established a standard list of radio channel memory programming. This list was developed with an attempt to accomodate the constraits of many potential target radios.

  • The memory channels have been roughly divided into groups of 20. (This was to better accomodate the channel scanning capabilities of the Kenwood TM-D700.)
  • The list has all of the VHF frequencies listed before the UHF ones. This was done to make it more usable by single band VHF radios.
  • Unused channels have been created at (hopefully) logical places in the list to accomodate future additions.

This list is available as a Microsoft Excel (2003) file and as an Adobe Acrobat file. The latest version of this list is as of March 3rd, 2008.

Additionally, the list is available in formats comaptible with radio specific programming software.
